Carefully selected active ingredients
🌿 Sugar cane squalane - a product loved by many people because it is biocompatible with epidermal lipids. It rebuilds the hydrolipid layer, improves skin elasticity and prevents water loss. It has a very light, non-greasy consistency.
📌 Fun fact: Historically, squalane was sourced from shark liver – Tuulia uses only a plant-based, sustainable alternative derived from fermenting Brazilian molasses.
🌿 The composition also includes an anti-acne extract , containing a combination of licorice, marigold, pansy and white willow. This is a complex plant-mineral complex with a cleansing and anti-inflammatory effect. Licorice and violet have antibacterial properties, willow and zinc reduce the activity of sebaceous glands, and yeast support the skin's microbiome. This type of ingredient creates the so-called phyto-synergy, i.e. mutual reinforcement of action in one formula, which have anti-inflammatory effects, soothe irritations and support the fight against imperfections.
🌿 Niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3 - is a multifunctional active ingredient that supports a healthy complexion, reducing the visibility of minor discolorations and influencing sebum regulation: it reduces the visibility of pores, lightens discolorations, soothes inflammation and strengthens the lipid barrier. Studies show that with regular use (5% concentration) it can reduce sebum secretion by up to 50%.
🌿 Zinc gluconate – has astringent, sebum-regulating and soothing properties. Supports the treatment of inflammation and limits excessive sebum activity. Has antibacterial properties and supports skin regeneration.
🌿 Salicylic acid – which penetrates the sebaceous glands and dissolves excess sebum. Effectively reduces blackheads and has a keratolytic effect, exfoliates dead skin cells and helps unclog pores.
🌿 Inulin - is a plant-based prebiotic that supports the skin microbiome, ensuring the balance of the epidermal ecosystem. Improves the comfort of sensitive skin and soothes the feeling of dryness.
🌿 Allantoin - a compound with soothing and regenerating effects. Accelerates the healing of minor damage and increases the skin's ability to retain water.
🌿 D-Panthenol, also known as provitamin B5 - can penetrate deeper layers of the epidermis, where it is transformed into pantothenic acid - a compound necessary for cell regeneration. It soothes, moisturizes and has anti-inflammatory effects.
🌿 Vitamin E - tocopheryl acetate - is a strong lipophilic antioxidant. Protects against oxidative stress and photoaging, stabilizes vegetable oils in our formula. Improves elasticity and strengthens the skin's natural protective mechanisms.
📌 Fun fact: tocopherol comes from Greek and literally means "bringing fertility" and was originally studied as a fertility-supporting ingredient. Well, it has a slightly different purpose for us :)
🌿 Chia seed oil - a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA, omega-3), which supports the regeneration of the lipid barrier and soothes micro-inflammation. Reduces redness, improves elasticity and prevents skin dehydration.
📌 Fun fact: The name "chia" comes from the Mayan language and means "strength" - these seeds were considered sacred food of warriors.
🌿 Black cumin oil contains thymoquinone, a compound with proven antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Reduces acne lesions and supports the reconstruction of problematic skin.

🌿 Caprylic-capric triglyceride - although it sounds chemical, is of completely natural origin - it is made from coconut oil and glycerin. A light consistency emollient that protects against excessive water loss, giving the skin a velvety finish, softens and smoothes the skin without a greasy effect. It acts as a carrier of active substances, supporting their penetration.
